Planning Calendar

Check a possible date against every event already on the public calendar — then, with a free account, save your plans as private drafts before publishing.

How to use the Planning Calendar

Use this private calendar to draft possible event dates, track planning deadlines, and organize your timeline before submitting a public event.

Planning items are private and do not appear on the public DMV Art Events Calendar until you choose to submit them as public events.

  1. 1Draft a date

Add a possible event name, proposed date, and notes.

  2. 2Track your timeline

Add venue, promotion, registration, and final approval deadlines.

  3. 3Submit when ready

Convert it into a public event submission for admin approval.

Check my date

Enter a proposed event. We'll score the date against nearby arts events without saving your event. Review the results, then choose to edit the date or submit.
